Small Fruit Production Workshop

Are you interested in growing fruit for your personal use or for sale? If so, this workshop is for you. Our morning session will cover which small fruit crops thrive in coastal North Carolina as well as the details you need to know to grow them successfully. After lunch, we will move outside for a pruning demonstration, so dress accordingly. Featured crops will be strawberries, blueberries, muscadine grapes and blackberries.
About our speakers:
Bill Cline is an extension specialist who has extensive experience in the production and disease management of blueberries, muscadines, and strawberries.
Dr. Mark Hoffmann, NC State University Horticulture Science Department
Small Fruit Extension Specialist and an Assistant Professor at NC State University where he covers strawberry and grape production.
