4-H Biomedical Engineering Program

This is a WONDERFUL curriculum from the Boston Museum of Science.  We will explore what it means to be an engineer, what it is to be a biomedical engineer and apply that to some really AMAZING engineering problems!  Youth will be presented with examples of cases where animals have had to have prosthetics made and will be challenged to design their own using animal models!  Making a prosthetic beak for an eagle and a prosthetic leg for an elephant are just two of the fun challenges that youth will get to work on during this 4-week program hosted by the Craven County Library Branches in Cove City and Vanceboro!  This program is FREE for ages 8 – 18 years old, but you must register with the site at which your youth plan to attend.

This is a 4-Week program
