If you would like to attend next year, please message the Craven County 4-H Agent at 252-578-4704 (text) or albrook4@ncsu.edu and I will be glad to put you on a waiting list and talk to you about the program for next year.4-H Camp is a wonderful opportunity for youth to participate in a wide variety of activities and experiences in an exceptional, professional, overnight camping program. The 4-H Summer Camp experience enables a child to learn while kayaking, canoeing, rock climbing, learning about nature, performing in skits, and even perfecting archery skills. The Eastern 4-H Center does all of this and more…our Team Challenge Course is also a great way for campers to improve communication and teamwork skills. Along with well-trained counselors and program instructors, every camper will have memories and friendships that last a lifetime. SPACE IS LIMITED! We have 6 spots reserved for this summer camp, 4 for ages 8-12 years old (2 male and 2 female) and 2 for ages 13-14 (1 male and 1 female). Youth have to be registered through 4-H Online in order to attend. This is a free registration but is mandatory. Spots are first-come first-served. Once the deposit is made, then that spot is filled. Normally, a week at this camp costs $625.00, but thanks to wonderful donors and supporters we have additional funds to make the camp cost only $50 for early registration (by March 15th) and $100 for regular registration after (March 15th) Additional scholarships for the $50 and $100 amounts are also available.
