Nature and Photography? Sign me Up!


If you like nature and photography then we've got the 4-H Summer Camp for you! We will be exploring our creative side with photography! We will be focusing on smartphone and digital photography, where we will learn about composition, lighting, framing, and aperture. Once we've got the basics down we will be heading to Carrot Island for a day of nature and photography. We will also be submitting photographs to the NC State 4-H Photo Contest. So get ready to snap!

This camp has a minimum of 3 participants.


Event Schedule:
June 18th - 20th
Ages 10 - 18
Cost: $34.52


Tuesday: We will meet at Craven County Cooperative Extension Office to learn the basics of photography. You will need to bring your own lunch, snacks and juice will be provided.


Wednesday: We will meet at the Craven County Co-opertive Extension Office, and head to Carrot Island. We will take pictures and head back to the Craven Extension office for pick up at 5pm. You will need to bring your own lunch and water. Snacks, and juice will be provided.


Thursday: We will be at the Craven Cooperative Extension Office to work on editing photos. You will need to bring your own pack lunch. Snacks, and Juice will be Provided.


*** To participate in this camp children will need to be able to walk a mile and carry their own supplies.


Refunds are done on a case by case basis. Eventbrite fees are non-refundable.
