Accepted Materials

  • Cooking oil
  • Drain openers
  • Automotive fluids: gasoline, used motor oil, anti-freeze
  • Pesticides: Lawn, garden, and farm pesticides and fertilizer
  • Batteries
  • Paint: Latex* and oil based; paint thinners 10 gallons max per vehicle. Dried latex paint may be disposed of via normal waste collection

Non-Accepted Materials

  • Commercial waste
  • Explosives
  • Infectious, biological, or radioactive wastes
  • Ammunition

No Mystery Cans!

Everything must be labeled or easily identified.

ADDITIONAL GUIDELINES:

You will be asked to remain in your vehicle at all times. We will remove your items from your vehicle. Contractors are not permitted to bring items for disposal (residential wastes only).

The Coastal Partnership (CEP) is a public solid waste management authority that serves Carteret, Craven, and Pamlico Counties. CEP provides residents with an environmentally sound and cost- solid waste disposal, of household hazardous waste collection days in each of the three counties.
