NC State will continue to provide training for producers that will apply auxin herbicides to auxin tolerant plants  These training sessions will be via Zoom only. Advance registration is required. The chart below shows dates. All meetings will begin at 8:30 a.m. Contact your local N.C. Cooperative Extension Agent for the password after registering.

If these classes are not convenient or preferred, each product manufacturer will offer either training online, via webinar, or some combination. Refer to the links below to obtain training via the manufacturer’s training sessions.

Manufacturer’s Training Options

a. BASF – Any applicator who is planning to apply a dicamba-based herbicide on a dicamba-tolerant cropping system is required to take annual dicamba applicator training. Learn more about training and opportunities available from BASF. Training sessions will be loaded in early 2023 and include online, in-person, and live webinar options.

b. Bayer – Bayer encourages any individual seeking information on dicamba training to visit: Dicamba Training and Application Requirements . On this page, you will find information on different training options and are able to register for the method that best suits your learning preference. You will also find many additional resources available to you.

c. Syngenta – Syngenta will offer a training module. It is found under the Supporting Materials section by clicking the Visit Dicamba Training.
