The 2020 Coastal Plains Livestock Show and Sale was on April 18th & 19th at the Lenoir County Livestock Arena (1791 NC-55, Kinston, NC 28504).

For more than 80 years, youth in South Eastern North Carolina have competed in this historical show. This Easter time event brought children from 11 counties to compete with their hogs, goats, sheep, steers, and heifers. This was the 82nd Anniversary of the show!

Participants were required to enter using online forms and completing project books. The Coastal Plains Livestock Show and Sales is 100% sponsored by the community so youth can participate without fees.

We are so proud of each of our Jones County 4-H’ers who participated in the Coastal Plains Livestock Show and Sale. These youth put so much time, hard work and love into their project animals and it really showed when they entered the ring!
Jones County 4-H couldn’t ask for a better group of kids to represent them at the show!
