We are excited to start off our new 4-H year which officially began on January 1, 2020. In order to continue as a 4-H member/volunteer, submit a new enrollment for the 2020 year, and participate in any 4-H activities/events, you must complete an application through 4HOnline. Please see the linked PDFs below for instructions on how to enroll (for new members) or re-enroll through 4HOnline.

NEW MEMBERS:  If this is your first time enrolling in the 4-H program, please see the PDF called “Setting Up a Profile.” You will need a family profile in order to submit new 4-H member and volunteer applications. Once your family profile is set up, please submit a 4-H member enrollment for each child in your family.

RETURNING 4-H MEMBERS:  If you were enrolled in the 4-H program in 2019, you can simply log in to 4HOnline, review your information, make necessary changes, and complete your insurance and medical information to re-enroll. You should be able to re-enroll in less than 5 minutes.

VOLUNTEERS: All volunteers must complete this process as well. Those volunteers who have not had a background screening through the Avery County Extension office in the last 2 years, will need to complete that process in addition to submitting an updated volunteer application. Information regarding the screening process will be provided to you upon receiving your application renewal through 4HOnline.

If you have any questions or troubles with this process, please contact Ms. Bobbie at bobbie_willard@ncsu.edu or the N.C. Cooperative Extension of Avery County office at (828)733-8270. We hope you find the new enrollment process to be simplified and quick!
